O-Fest Relay Race Leg 1

Some tricky orienteering for a sprint-type race, luckily I heeded the warnings of some earlier finishers. Fun course, but shoulda worn pants.

I started my watch late again :s
10 AM

Orienteering race 21:46 intensity: (5 @1) + (16 @2) + (41 @3) + (13:17 @4) + (7:27 @5) 3.4 km (6:24 / km) +2m 6:23 / km

O-Fest Relay Race Leg 2

Easier navigation than leg 1, but it was out in the open -- hothothot.
No mistakes, just slow running...

O-Fest Middle Race

Bah. First 12 controls went ok, some mistakes, some trouble finding the actual controls. #13 was a disaster, I think I exhausted myself getting to 12 (steep uphill), and was not at all focused for that long leg (looking at my route, I overshot my turnoff by 500m, starting only 200m away). Got totally lost, didn't see anyone for ages, and then eventually wandered into an area where I saw some people and realized that I was probably close to something. I think I would have been happy with the race had I not blown that one. My speed sucked, but I was pretty happy with how I read the map overall.
Started my watch late, overall time = 91.53
5 PM

Orienteering race 17:55 intensity: (10 @4) + (17:45 @5) ** 3.38 km (5:18 / km) +1m 5:17 / km

O-Fest Sprint Race

Tired from morning, but managed OK. Hit all the controls (I paid very close attention to the descriptions!) but one, accounting for a 45s booboo.
Average heartrate of 190 for running at a speed of 5.15min/k? That's not good... Started my watch late again, real time = 19.38

There were some very fast runners out there...

Soccer 1:15:00 [4]

Mistake. First soccer game of the season, no subs, tired heading into it.

KILLER calf cramp at 75min -- wtf does that mean? How long do these things last? I can't walk.

Running a la Francis

wow my heart almost blew up -- never hit 197 before...

First run in about 4weeks, running felt awful. Perfect timing for the weekend! :)
