weight:167.6lbs shoes: Salomon Speedcross - green

Finally had the chance to walk, slowly, on the Burnt Mountain map Brown X course. Going mostly straight, never, ever losing contact with the map, using the magnifier, stopping often equaled this. Of course, there are no mistakes, and of course, when it counted, I thought it would take a speed of about 14-15 min per km to win my age category. Ha - should have attempted this approach. I acknowledge that there's something screwy with this thinking. It couldn't be this easy.

6x hills with lots and lots of walking. Garmin did whatever it wanted to - would NOT do splits. Cursed technology.

This was the sprint, around the Dartmouth Campus. I did this as a lark, was not very competitive, but somehow enjoyed it. Nice day, worked the start again for the third day in a row and got to watch some VERY fast folks run around in their shorts. I don't have much/enough experience with sprints, but think I learned a lot and might be competitive next go-around.
