Beautiful day, map and courses. Much more readable map and terrain than model event. Was very cautious - especially at start. Managed to win the day in my geezer class, tho. Happy over result. Probably lost 3 - 4 minutes and could have worked harder.

Messed around at the U.S. Chapionships Model event. Found the map difficult, the terrain hard and became very worried about the championships. Vowed to take it slow.
