Orienteering race 2:27:34 intensity: (27:34 @2) + (1:00:00 @3) + (1:00:00 @4) 15.0 km (9:50 / km) +700m 7:59 / km
shoes: O-Icebug - Grn Spirit 11.5

Really hard map, and not super fast on the lumpy terrain, nor picking good routes (should've used more trails.) Still held on for only 1 minute from 12th overall, and 3 seconds from helping the USA score for BK cup.

A real test of the cold - was super tired at the end, but never quite had to stop running entirely.

Orienteering race 49:08 [4] 5.0 km (9:50 / km) +200m 8:11 / km
shoes: O-Icebug - Grn Spirit 11.5

Sloppy and slow. Recovering from a cold slowly, so watery eyes didn't help vision in the dark forest...

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2] 1.2 km (8:20 / km) +30m 7:24 / km
shoes: O-Icebug - Grn Spirit 11.5

Orienteering race 1:32:20 [4] 11.0 km (8:24 / km) +400m 7:06 / km
shoes: O-Icebug - Grn Spirit 11.5

Significantly worse day physically, as I was in new shoes - 0.5 size bigger to keep my R-toe from getting hit less, but it still got hit, and I got heel and toe blisters after about the halfway point, despite a lot of vaseline. Navigation was okay, but a little sloppier.
Somehow hung on for 3rd US overall, in the midst of 4 people in 1.5 minutes overall - all 1 hour behind TGIF.
