AM run, slow & easy & paved, w/kids, trying to get the ankle to recover a bit. It was moderately sore, but not worsening, during this short run.

We started just as Angelica got home from the PDR (1/2 marathon), where she'd run with a friend in 2:07, which was slow enough that she was well rested at the end...

By myself in the PM, to the track & back, and then later over to get AJ's shoes he left at a neighbor's. This was 2 separate runs, for a total of ~ 3x10 minute runs today, incl. some on grass.

The ankle is improving already. Only 2x ice today to quell it.

Twisted my R-ankle awfully hard for a training run, about 20 minutes into a run, while off trail to 'get my feet stronger.' Frustrating, as I wasn't moving all that fast, but still tweaked the ankle bad. Jogged home slow, as it was a long way, and once I got restarted on the flats, walking was even more painful than running.

Iced twice in evening after. Hope this recovers in a week or so.

On short loop at 6pm, then a longer one at 10pm, still not adding to much.

I haven't had a day this bad at work in a long time. A day where I wonder what other jobs I could get...

And my L-inside back-of-knee tendon decided to get sore last night, so skipping intervals was perhaps a good idea for that reason too, but still sucks to have 2 reasons to skip intervals.

Slow day around VF park, cutting short a 2.5 hr run as I'd started a bit late. Ran intentionally off trail a lot, bumping my feet around a bit for practice, esp. on the first half of the run.
