10th US, 16th overall at the end of the 2004 US Champs. That's my goal is top 10 US. It would be nice to be a bit higher, but my training really sucks, so that'll need to improve to get my speed up to the level where with two fairly clean runs (as I had at the US Champs this year), I _can_ be in (or near the top of) the top pack, rather than at the tail end of it.

Day 1 of US champs. Both feet got numb in the slush, and was farther back from the winners (63-65) than I'd like to be... Mostly physical though, some of which is staying tough & strong running even in the snow/wet/cold/wind conditions.
Noon-ish, slow, short recovery run & stretch, post Highlander.
R-IT @ knee moderately sore, but that's the only thing worse than general muscle fatigue, so I think I'll be okay by the US Champs.
