R Foot no longer annoying/lightly burning, but I can still feel a bit of a twinge in the usual spot. Will try for a short run in the AM.

Foot kinda sore all morning. Didn't get much worse during the run - less so than the more abrupt fine->sore on the two earlier runs this week.

Sore afterwards - was watching 2 little kids right after I finished (as their mother was busy delivering their new little brother ;), so I didn't do my normal stretching/DT routine for a few hours, and evening after that (and tight sock & Salon Pas tape) by the evening it was getting upset (R-foot generally burny/strangely sore from mid-sole to just above heel) - had to do 2-3 DT sessions to knock it back down.


I think I'm going to need to take another no-running period - gym bike & walking only - until this calms back down. When I next try to ramp back up, maybe I'll start with more foot strength even before I try running, just to try something different?

One surge up the 25% grade for cardio capacity. Still quite slow on the feet, and no heel landing. Shouldn't have been hard on the foot.

Very light loop, ~3 miles. R-foot started getting a bit sore during at ~6 minutes in, but was fine after some post-run stretching/DT/tape/sock for (at least) 8 hours...

Muddy trails, easy jog. R-foot bruised-spot sore after 5 minutes, and for the remainder of the run.

But then foot was fine in the evening (after tight-socks, sticker, DT-ball...) - go figure.

Also, stood around in the same running shoes for hours. R-foot sore at end of day - 2nd day in a row where I needed to step on a ball - perhaps the bit-too-fast bit-too-paved run with Angelica & Natasha a few days ago still hurting (in evenings only?) or perhaps the running shoes are too tight to allow good blood flow?

Also, stood around in the same running shoes for hours, including at Winter Meeting. R-foot sore at end of day - perhaps the bit-too-fast bit-too-paved run with Angelica & Natasha a few days ago still hurting (in evenings only?) or perhaps the running shoes are too tight to allow good blood flow?

Decided to try a 3 mile run with Angelica & Natasha. First ~mile was okay, but at some point after I forgot I was injured for a bit, and ran on pavement chatting, I realized my R-foot was getting sore, and the peeled off and slowed down for the jog home.

R-foot sore in the arch, and normal bruise spot while running. Not too bad in the afternoon/evening, but not fully recovering as it had been.

Step treadmill march at the gym, but no running.

Did an AM foot waddle & DT, and if anything, that almost felt like a took my foot from not annoyed, to annoyed.

Did a full set of strength stuff after the treadmill climb at the gym, (which includes the foot waddle & DT) and that didn't make the foot worse, or better.

It (R-foot)was a bit mildly annoyed on/off all day - hopefull it's not going to flare up worse in some way. It does seem a *bit* of a one-off.

Maybe I'll try the 30-minute run, alternating with a ~10 minute jog & stretch - as the best the feet have felt (completely normal for 12-36 hours) is generally after my run & DT/stretch.

Muddy run back across VF park from the end of a walk.

Longest continuous* run since last summer.

Foot was a bit sore this AM (R-foot 'bruised' spot near inside heel), and during the run - didn't get worse or better - including during a warmup foot waddle & stretch it stayed about the same. After the run, I stretched, did the ball step DT, massage gun, tape & tight socks - and it's completely fine for 3 hours now. Go figure.

*Had to walk a bit up a hill and through some bushes as a trail I was on faded out.
