Note

I built a kayak rack in the garden using old bits of scaffold tubing that were previously clothes line poles in the garden which I later dug up using a jackhammer. Long time in the making but now 70% complete.

Need a few extra sections of scaffold tube to complete and also need to secure the top and bottom of the vertical columns.

SWEMBO Quantocks - Day Leg

A different format to usual with a day and night section. Total time allowed was 3hrs and it was up to each participant to decide how much time to do in the day and how much at night. I did 2hrs day and 1hr night. I had planned 1hr 40m day and 1hr 20m night but got a little greedy on the day leg.

SWEMBO Quantocks - Night Leg

NS, N2, N3, N11, N9, N5, N6, N1, F1

Took it cautiously as I didn't want to mess up in the dark nor fall off and injure myself!

Didn't quite have enough time for the climb up to collect N7 (worth 30pts).

BTW - the values of the night section (denoted N#) CPs were 50% higher than shown on the map.

Finished 2nd overall behind Harry Kingston but ahead of Ian Cartwright.
