Running race 1:22:58 [5] 13.1 mi (6:20 / mi) +67m 6:14 / mi
shoes: Lunar glides 2 1st pair

Ran a fairly even race - was there or there abouts on 6.10min/mile for the first 10miules then dropped slightly for the last 3 (slight uphill gradient and feeling the legs from yesterday)

Can't give precise breakdown as left Garmin at Karens, Doh!

Happy with race felt like a runner and came 44th, close bunching - 1.20.00 would have put me 16th...

Forgot I was taking it easy - competitive juices were flowing - but misspunched - gutted!!!

Out of practice = schoolboy error

Just saw winsplits - would have been 10th but got a fastest split so not so bad - need to start training again after the marathon to get the basics back.

Thinking about the 1/2 on Sunday and the Nopesport League on sat, not sure yet which one I'm going to put the effort in on, but need to rest to get rid of these heavy marathon legs first...

Was suppossed to be Heathside 'Tough Man Ten' but I was feeling it a bit from the weekend and this is supposed to be an easy week before the 1/2 on Sunday.

So did the Pussy Boy 5 Instead

Still a nice pace though which I was happy with

Easy run from work to Jaynes office then home (1st bit took 27min without bag, then remainder was with Jaynes bag)
