Gym not open today meaning cycling was the best option. Made it a decent length lamb safari. Up over Burbage, round Edale (climb from barber booth to mam tor), stop for snacks in Hope, back up pindale road, over through eyam and froggat climb to finish. Knocked off a bit of time for the descents.

JK relay leg 3. No idea at all what was going on until Pippa came in, which teams were i front or behind and by how much. Nearly lost it on the first, suddenly lost confidence and took a bit of a look around before i could feel sure again. After that it went much smoother, a couple of small things but course was simple and just grinding it out. Second place after Mary spent about an hour getting us reinstated twice when the results /emit were having a mare.

JK middle, trying to carry the same focus from last weekend. Managed mostly, something about the gullies controls that made me lose my shit in the circle both times! Lucky to catch shallot half way cos i was already blowing out my arse haha, proper red zoned. Decided i would be massively pleased with top 3, gritted teeth and sneaked the win. Not perfect but so pleased to hold it together in the circumstances.

Because running is a bit uncomfortable still, this was minimal. Nice to not be having too much discomfort after, considering the high speed needed today.

Wheata Woods evening. Bit of an average for the session, easy in then playing something like trains with Kim, then easier at the end again. Legs in manual turnover but general condition seems okay. A bit of a different game to norway, will see how the foot reacts...
