Park O Final.

Running in "D grade" which reflects my level of injury and lack of runs in Street-O this season.

I got caught by the various fences and gates by not reading the map properly. As can be seen by the extended route and time to 16.

Hot and sweaty at the end.

At brothers continuing on stair project.

Another three stairs installed but running into multiple buried obstacles such as storm water pipes, ag drain pipes and concrete. Lots of discussion about potential solutions and also lots of sweat!

Around the newly reopened Mount Sugarloaf. An old favourite of mine.

2nd attempt at Raymond Terrace parkrun but this time with ankles strapped with tape rather than heavy ankle braces.

Last run here was my worst recorded time of 31:09 as involved some walking after injury.

This time managed to push (motivation still low) to run for the entire duration.

This gets all my best times on my parkrun tally board sub 30 minutes.

Newcastle Hunter Stadium to Nobbys beach and return via King Edward Park and Barr Beach.
"Stop and chat" times not excluded apart from stop just before 2 pm for pub counter meal.

Still sore and tired from Sunday.
Therefore didn't push hard and this included occasional walking.

Helped out at the Finish Desk handing people their blocks rather than going straight home.

Disposed of two unwanted mountain bikes at Newcastle Uni bike 'recycle shop' yesterday.
One womans bike which hasn't been ridden in probably 10 years and my original bike from Whyalla 20 years ago.
I still have one mountain bike left.

Today I pumped up tyres on my twin brothers "hand me down" racing bike so will give that a ride sometime this week.
I imagine the skinny tyres and light weight will make a huge difference to the rolling resistance.
