Orienteering race (Casa de Fruta) 13:42 [5] ** 2.6 km (5:16 / km) +5m 5:13 / km

Interscholastics at Casa de Fruta resort. Took 3rd place on the Medium course behind a Norwegian and Mathew (5 sec). Good for the COC JV team. The real stuff starts tomorrow though.
As far as the race went, I felt like I lost ~45 seconds. One bad one was when I saw Huw running to an adjacent control to my intended control and had to stop, figure out my mistake, and get back over to my control. Oh well...
Then at the end there were three punches for the last control and I had to stop and cross-check the control number to make sure there wasn't a trick in there because my tired eyes told me they weren't all the same number, but they were.
