Did Red 9 at Morehead University in Morehead, Kentucky, set by Mike Minium. I ran my competitive age class, M45, but was non-competitive since I had seen the map and basemap, but not the courses.

Really fun. Mike found lots of weird little places and across-the-grain legs. I was so slow that nothing really got me, but I had notable hesitations and a few bad routes. Did pretty well reading the map at (my) speed---a few times I hesitated to figure out what was wrong and "got it" right away. Other times---not so much.

Picking up two repeaters for Valerie. Apparently left my GPS on most or all of the way to Carter Caves. Which is why I was surprised on Sunday morning at the middle start when my 305 had low battery, and I decided not to delay longer to run back and get the 110. Really, really wish I had a GPS track for the middle on Sunday.

Very short 4 transmitter course at Mt Airy, set by Brian DeYoung. One T wasn't working correctly. We got a single interested new person. Hope it pans out.

The US Championships this year will be near Denver in late August, so that is a must-attend event. Looking forward to it.
