If you looked at my schedule today, it would look open and easy. But I was majorly stressed out from about 1:30 to 4pm, and I still haven't come down from it. I feel like I have a constant, low-level adrenaline rush. I sat on the couch for 30 minutes, and it helped a little. Then I tried to sleep for 45 minutes, and it also helped a little. But I've always heard that if you want to properly handle an adrenaline rush, you need to go run it off. So I went out the door.
Legs were heavy for the first half, and then I noticed my heart rate just seemed really high. I did the one-hill route without going around the rec center, and I walked the one big hill because my HR just hovered around 170.
I think the run helped a little. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Course 3 at Middle Creek, set by Ben Hart.
A really nice course that used trails well, and went off-trail in fairly nice kinda open areas.
I wasn't feeling very well and had to walk all but about 2 minutes. (Feeling better now---Sunday.)
Watching the second season of Treme (1)---waiting on the third disk.
Watched "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" (1953) (1) with my niece. (She picked it!). This movie was made 59 years ago. Brilliant Technicolor. I enjoyed it. I really need to watch "Some Like It Hot", which some people say is the funniest movie ever made. Both of these movies were mentioned this morning (5 Aug) on NPR. Go figure.
