Running 1:18:00 [4] 14.0 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Trabuco Silver 2010

Run to amanda's place from work....was mentally prepared to run all the way home but managed to get some chafing on my legs below my shorts and figured it would be slightly overkill to run 25km after work.

Was probably around the 11300 mark if you dont include all the waiting at traffic lights on stirling hwy and canning hwy. 8mins slower than last year, however I was carrying about 4-5kgs more in my backpack....i will blame it on that instead of being out of form

Freshwater bay to stirling bridge again....heaps of jellyfish today....smacked a few of them around with the paddle.

47mins there 45 back. Felt slow but got a few rides off some boat wake :)

Damn my nuts are sore!

I had bent my seat on saturdays ride and it was leaning back. it seamed to be ok for the first 30 mins, but then the pressure in the wrong places started to hurt. Jumped off my bike and low and behold the back 2 stays on the saddle had busted...yippee!

Luckily I was only about 1km north of canning bridge and rode to amanda's place to steal her seat post and saddle, however that was 4 km of riding with no seat post and no saddle with a heavy backpack.

Amanda's saddle was not like the blade of a saddle mine was so it took a bit of adjusting to a wider saddle.

4 PM

Cycling (MTB Bike) 1:35:00 [4] 37.0 km (23.4 kph)
shoes: Giant XTC2 With Standard Wheel

Ride from work to Midvale to meet up with Andy to go to the veledrome. On the way went past a couple bike shops to source a new saddle but they had cheapies so kept on going. Easterly was particularly nasty the whole way and legs definetly struggled to keep the pace above 26-27km/hr.

Swung past CDU to get a new leg leash for my V10. I had been using Amanda's.
6 PM

Cycling (road Bike) (Veledrome...weee!) 2:00:00 [4] 25.0 km (12.5 kph)

Had not been to the veledrome for a long time, probably 12 years. not much has changed including the hire bikes.

Got the newbie treatment with Andy. Probably about 5km warm up and getting used to being on the track. Then a medium paced 16km while the speedy guys did 20. Then a faster 5 42-45km/hr paced with the motorbike.

Legs are shattered after todays efforts.
