Event: Burswood Metro Series
7 AM
MTB Riding 4:00:00 [3] 41.19 km (10.3 kph)
shoes: Giant XTC2 With XT Wheels
Out for a MTB ride with Andy and Clint
Well we certainly picked a stinker of a day to go out for a ride. Went from the observatory heading south along the munda biddi to Karinyah hut. Had a 10min break here and headed back. Went up to the PBGS and slammed down a Powerade Silver Charge which tasted great with another 10-20 min break. Followed the single trail down into the valley and up the steep hill back up to the observatory. Clint managed to get 2 flats in this section and andy almost died up the hill. I can remember the last time I did it with tooms, trick, danger and wally and i could see the same reaction I had last time.
Actual ride time for me was 2:33.00

Damn it was hot! Rode from amanda's via the bike shop and down to andy's place. while i left amanda continue down the freeway I went via the bike shop 3km from the freeway got some new grips and some new super flashers and then caught her down the freeway at a meeting point

Riding at night time was far more sensible. Strapped on the ayups and me and andy rode back to amanda's place to get the car so amanda didnt have to ride. saw some rabbits along the path that almost got squashed as they came towards the light.
