Running race (Metro Series) 45:04 [4] 8.3 km (5:26 / km)
(injured) shoes: Asics Gel Trabuco Silver 2010

Considering the state of my ankle which i had strapped for the race and that I had been digging in the garden for 6 hours before coming to the metro I think i did really well.

The route choice I made was pretty good. A few places were I was able to make some shorter distances but didnt.

Overall happy with the race....pity robbie beat me and won the water bottle :(

On a good note, the ankle swelling has gone down, but not going to run on it until maybe the weekend as most of the fast people will be out rogaining instead of at the metro series. I want a drink bottle.

Slow paddle with andrew. Put in a few efforts and didnt take shortcuts like andrew.
