Orienteering race 58:30 [5] 11.8 km (4:57 / km)
shoes: GT1000 Blue/white no.1

London City Race, Men's Vets Course. Fun, and seemed to be running better than last week. About 17th I think, 6 mins down, with at least 2 mins of clear. Left knee (taped) coped. Right a bit sore early on. Gradually getting my act together again.

Hmmmm, Splitsbrowser shows a few too many losses: 9 - 40', stopped to answer someone who was asking where the red start was (about 1.5k away...) plus road cross; 12 - 50' - went under underpass after tower to wrong side of road and had to go back; 15 - 30'; 17 - 45', went to the corresponding wall bend 10m north...

Orienteering race 45:40 [5] 9.1 km (5:01 / km)
shoes: GT1000 Blue/white no.1

Antwerp City Race. 19/54 and 8.5 mins down on Vet men's course. Felt I was running well, no real navigation problems and so was surprised to be so far back. I guess I shouldn't be surprised my running speed is off the boil after being injured so long. Knee starting to complain a bit near end but basically coped.
