Night-time trail run through Hueston Woods, including a 1 mile section in the southwest (south of the golf course) that I have never visited. I have finally learned that white on the HW map means "not quite fight", yellow means "thick head-high vegetation" and a dashed black line means "intermittant 10 year old deer trail." I tested out a new head lamp that felt marginally better than a hockey puck afixed with duct tape. So it earned the status of "backup" for the weekend's rogaine
Long run around Acton Lake. Felt good for the first few miles, but couldn't really keep it up, and dragged it in. Right before leaving, I found out that my Camelbak had a leak. But a leaky Camelbak is better than none, and so I took off with it. After a mile, my shorts were saturated, and I never noticed its slow dripping again.
