Had a good run, but made a few mistakes. Very slow in some places, especially in the felled areas, lots of branches everywhere, got stuck a couple of times. Messed up No. 5, i mistaken one of the open areas that wasn't the one i was looking for and had to go through the horrible green. No. 7, out of 6 i crossed the river too soon and ended up going too high, lost time there. The cousre wasn't too difficult and they could have made better use of the map.

Started off slow, inprep for the beast of a mountain comming. Enjoyed the tough climb to the top, the trinity lads seemed to have the legs on me climbing up, i think they went too fast too soon. Then peter went past me and colm was breathing down neck. Pushed all the way to the top and was second behind peter. Then came the maddnessssssss of the fast downhill section. I veered left instead of right at one point, it was a dead end, colm zipped past, tryed to keep up but couldn't go any fasted. Further down could hear people behind me and was expecting it to be peter, stephen cleary and shea went past and i had nothing in responce. Kept pushing, was not the limit. Could see the others in front, but could do nothing to catch them, just kept going till the finish. Was surprised to be faster than last year, although the pace was much faster this year.
