Shuffle in the rain over to the parkrun meeting point for 9am. Grabbed the course signs and stuck them out, no Shane this week so no chat. Then a short loop with Angus T who was doing some parkrun touristing

Blustery and wet morning but we started off fast enough. Legs still a bit tired, even during a recovery week, from a few big weeks but was able to hold on for a sub17....just......and faster than last week. 8sec slower than my course PB. 4th sub 17 on this course too. Orienteers taking places 1 and 3 and an ultra-runner in 2nd!

Map is a bit out of date but it will do. Making a few updates but I don't have the time for a full update at 1:2000 scale. Lots of small features around and lots of small animal tracks. Should be using controls on the day so that'll take any ambiguity out of it. Some edits to the course file to be made too. Might remove a control as the location is a bit touch and go

Garmin Deleted workout when I put on my layers. 12*400m (200m rec) solo. The screen struggles when I double tap it to take a split but brush it with a sleeve and it causes problems. Unhappy about this vanishing!! but here’s the manual input....it did happen! Honest!
