cycling 30:00 [3]

From my place to North Van MEC via the seabus. Nice day. Did 1.5 hours of promo for our long distance rogaine/score-O event next weekend. Decent response, so we'll see how many people show up.

Hiked with Meghan, Magnus, and Andrea on lower portions of Seymour, looking at some potential mappable terrain with the lidar map. Some nice west-coast white forest. Walking up crazy mountain bike trails - why do people think it's a good idea to fly down these?

Up to UBC. Feeling pretty good. Beautiful sunshine!

Gym 1:00 [3]

20 minutes of stretching and rolling.

Still feel the twinge a little while walking downstairs. When I use the roller, my right leg is tighter than the left, even though the left is the one that hurts... strange....

Note

So apparently when you do your first/second recovery run after an injury, going twice as long as planned and keeping on running, even though the injury hurts whilst running, is not a good idea. I can't walk down stairs today because my IT band hurts.... I suck!

Gym 1:00 [3]

40 minutes of stretching and rolling the leg

Running 1:04:00 [3]

Club run with Erica from her place to Jericho Beach and back. Intended to do a 30 min run then stretch, but then we started chatting and suddenly 30 mins had passed and we were all the way at Jericho with nowhere to go but back again... Leg was hurting on way back. Little stretching tonight. Plan lots tomorrow!

Climbing 45:00 [3]

Climbing gym with Pascal's parents, John (x2) and Jocelyne. Failed miserably at a 10a but scampered up a 10b... go figure!
