gym class (Body Sculpt) 1:05:00 [4]
(injured)

Oh my - what a class - Liv's second last before maternity leave (she's due in 4 weeks - incredible). Absolutely the best class so far - well balanced, despite her telling us it was upper body focussed. 2 runs - which I wasn't looking forward to because of glute. BUT not a hint of it - fantastic. A bit of tight outside hip, but very manageable. Glad for that with forthcoming weekend's exploits.
Focussing on stretching for the next 28 hours.

gym class (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]
(injured)

Laugh of day: instructors birthday. Someone tied 4 balloons to her bar and when she did C&Ps the balloons hit to ceiling. Made for a colourful stage.

Note
(injured)

The return of glute - loss of sleep, shortening of stride on right leg (yes it is possible)
10 AM

gym class (Body Pump) 1:10:00 [3]

Didn't retain increased weights, but did use the heaviest bar as a penalty. Triceps complained a bit - don't know why. All sections at about 80% comfort - so I guess that translates to maintenance. Will do a heavier session tomorrow.
5 PM

street run (SS - Ashtonfield) 44:56 [5] 5.7 km (7:53 / km)
ahr:128 max:166 rhr:68 shoes: adidas

Still on a bit of a high after the conference paper presentation and the aftermath.
This map - which I feel should more correctly be entitled Escherfield (or perhaps Noodlefield, looking at the street layout looks like noodles in a bowl) - is a really tricky one to balance getting points but two other layers - the hilly sections and the street layout. So I made the course into a series of lobes - mostly because the town planner hadn't done people the courtesy of having linking pathways between vast sections. Initially SW then N, SE around,up, down,up again. Was a really tough decision.
S-2C-1A-3A-1B-1C-3B-2E-1E-1H-3C-1G-1J-2B-1N-1M-F
Edit: Thursday morning revisit of course - only change was dropping 1J-2B to get 3D - 1M (in that order) which would have avoided the oh so long slog up the hill to 1M. It would have netted an extra point too, but very close to time either way. Getting happier with route choice decisions - a bit step forward for me this year. Just wait - next week will be a shocker.
No consistency points, so my theory of neat handwriting doesn't stack up either.
A couple of frustrating points behind rockman but my % of MessEng looks flattering - mostly his doing, not mine.

Great challenge - thanks kazza, really enjoyed it, especially as I wasn't one of the 78% who were late.

gym class (Shape and Tone) 50:00 [3]

I know that Shape and Tone or Body Sculpt classes are different in nature to the rest of my classes, but I am really starting to find S&T easy. Except for those infernal lying down side leg raises - I suck big time. Also finding 50 minutes really short. That said, it was a good solid class - maintenance.

gym class (Step Up) 1:00:00 [4]

solid without being spectacular
6 PM

walking 30:00 [2]

Trying to find the b@#!%^&* venue for tomorrow's conference. Finally found it. Now the good part - it was a lovely afternoon to walk along Honeysuckle and lots of people were doing so.

gym class (Body Pump) 1:00:00 [3]

Heaviest weights for biceps ever today - and I got through it. Hope tomorrow isn't tragic. Plan is to focus on one lifting each month.
