WOC Sprint Test

Little scrappy, 10s on #7, and 5s on #19 going straight into the uncrossable wall leaving 18. Some other minor things.
Not very fit at the moment, tried to start hard but was gassing coming into #1 so relaxed a bit more, still properly gassed on the last section after #19.

Caught Niall at #17, but he dropped me in the last section while I died.

Ran down the dirt roads, pleasant run. Some complaints, but much happier on road

Middle training, Haanja

Mostly very nice terrain. Mostly decent underfoot, but enough going on to keep it interesting, fallen trees, undergrowth etc.
Enjoyable in the bits I did.

Pretty clean throughout except for a little miss on the last control. Reading the map about as much as I might in a race, but not as much as I'd like for a training.

The training was a bit overshadowed by my ankle hurting as it did at the last SOL, weak in general and not enjoying the tape. And my Achilles began to seize up a little at the end for good measure.

Skipped the 2nd training, and will probably skip the forest tomorrow.

Ran down to DVC to find Freddie & Alex, but they'd gone elsewhere to run.
I was only doing a short one so didn't matter too much.

Pre-gym with Klára, Fay & Sarah.
Bumped into Fiina too which was nice.

Strength and Conditioning 40:00 [2]

Small group since gym wasn't actually on at this time.
Enjoyable though, and got reasonable work done.

At British Champs for the weekend, achilles improving a bit again, hard to say.
Not racing anyway, hopefully it's all grand next week.
