AM/PM Stage 2 of the HSH Cup at VRATIC at 1:10000. Another decent race with a few more mistakes than yesterday, #15-45s, #20-1:30 ran to a parallel stream with a different control, #24-1:30 just missed it (it was pretty tucked away) and a few other small mistakes around 10-20s. Felt more tired than yesterday so couldn't run as fast as I would have like on the trails. Actually ran 13.14 km. Cooler day again around 20C. Placed 12th out of 51.

PM Stage 1 of the HSH Cup at SPORYS at 1:10000. Another great race, maybe lost 1 min total spread out on a number of controls and the rest was probably from not running fast enough. Cool day again, around 16C. Actually ran 7.49 km. Placed 15th out of 50.

PM Night "O" at CECHRICE at 1:10000. Got to use a friends headlamp that was way brighter than mine so that made it easier to orienteer. Slow and unsure in spots (the map was missing some trails near the start which made it more difficult) and one not so great route choice on the long leg at the end but that was partly because my map was wet and falling apart. Cool night 12C and light rain. Actually ran 10.86 km. Placed 4th out of 27.

AM Sprint training at Rosarium at 1:4000. This was part of the map that the sprint final was held on during WOC 2008. Really fun training. Nice day 25C, it felt really warm. Actually ran 3.81 km.

AM Training at Stara Ves I at 1:1000. This was part of the map used for the middle qualification at WOC 2008. Tricky in parts. Legs were tired on the uphills. Made a stupid mistake, thought I was on a different trail, the easy orienteering is messing me up. Other than that it was a good training. Another nice day around 23C.

PM Training at Stara Ves II. This was part of the map used for WOC 2008 middle qualification. Really marshy, flat, tricky terrain. Good training once I got into the map after #1. Slow running because the ground was very uneven or mashy so you sunk it, past the knees in some places. Course distance was 3.3km. Nice day around 24C.

PM Training at Volarna at 1:10000. Nice training on a fairly geen map, some places were hard to run because of really uneven ground. Course distance was 4.7 km. One bad mistake because I couldn't stay on my compass, mainly because I was using the stream too much and miss read it. Generally feeling pretty tired. Tripped in the ditch by the road and landed on my knee, it is pretty sore now but should be fine. Nice day 22C.

PM Did ent alot better than the first one even though I was feeling really tired. Finally got in to the map and listened to my compass. Nice day 22C. Course distance was 3.2 km. Pace was a bit slower that the first training since I started this course 5 min after finishiing the last one.

PM Training at Kopecek at 1:7500. Nice day 24C. Course distance was 5.8 km. Some sloppy mistakes but generally good, hard to get into the 1:7500 scale. Some new clearing contribuated to one of the dumber mistakes.

PM Did the shorter training at Kopecek as well. Gps stopped working so I am just using the actual course distance. Really good besides one dumb mistake that even blows my mind. I think I was getting a little tired.
