Fun run with the lead chase group through 10. On the trail portion of the route to 11 I twisted my ankle and had to slow down to avoid making it worse. Kind of annoying as I'm just getting past the cracked rib from a CX fall 4 weeks ago. Tough watching the train leaving the station without me. Benefit was I could rely on my own navigating. Of course not much later I overshot 13.
The third map was a nice break mentally but I had to essentially watch each step so it wasn't very fast.
I enjoyed the fourth map but the ankle wasn't any better and around 27 it felt like I was just going through the motions to get to the finish which I eventually did, finishing 15th.
Despite the ankle it was a great day to be in the woods. Man, Harriman is rocky.
