Orienteering race 17:46 [3]

Not a very good race.

2: Slight mix up finding the right bridge. Probably lost around 10 seconds with hesitation.
5: Could have gone along the railway track.
8: Found the right control, punched, then thought that it wasn't mine, so continued to look for it. Found 9 and then went back to 8 and saw that it was the right control.... Lost 90 seconds (and the race) here
11: Bit of hesitation and wrong route. 10 seconds
13: Should have gone high.
20: A few map errors in this area, so my exit angle was wrong. Lost a few seconds going into the control.
21: Wrong flowerbed and a bit of hesitation.

Less rest than yesterday.
Was meant to be 28-30 for first 4 and then 26-28 for second 4. Ended up basically being 26-28 for all of them.

Note

Did a session today with the sprint coach. Was great to finally have someone that you could really engage with and say what you wanted. He is taking this first week easy to try to see where everyone is.

Hoping to incorporate some of the sprint stuff with some of the middle distance stuff.
