orienteering race 1:45:44 [3] **** 8.2 km (12:54 / km) +200m 11:30 / km

Alright race on a technical map. It was pretty hard with all the rock features and small amount of contour detail. Overall all it was a nice day in the woods

Running 53:05 [3] 7.08 mi (7:30 / mi)

Long run with my dog. He needs to work on his endurance. Felt like I out ran him the whole time. I felt pretty good on the hills and stayed strong throughout.

Easy day today.
Stretched and then went on a good 20 min run in the city
Came back and hit the weight room for a little bit. Did a light weight but high rep type of workout

track meet race 3:27 [5] 1.2 km (2:52 / km)

Pretty good day on the track. Was a bit cold but I had good races.
The best was in the 4x800 when I caught the guy in front of me and then me and him battled it out the last 100 meters. In the end I beat him by inches. Only ran a 2:28 split.
Then in the 4x400 my team came first in my heat. I was pretty hyped up to run and I did what I had to do on the anchor leg. Ran a 59 second 400 split. Which is an improvement from last week.

did some stretching. Today was an easy day before a meet tomorrow.

did about 30 good mins of running with josh and jimmy through the city

Monday Mar 28, 2011 #

3 AM

first did dynamic stretching to warm up. then did 5x10M dashes for some excel speed. Then it was onto the work out

Warm up mile around 7 min pace. (something light)

then 6x200 at a 30 to 32 pace
200M jog between each

then 1000M at a 3:40 pace

then 6x200M at 30 to 32 pace
200M jog between each

finally another mile at an easy 7 min pace
