Walking 29:00 [1]

About a mile in Nottingcook, still early to be cool - also breezy but bugs not really put off. Back and left buttock don't want to play. Start pilates next week.

Walking 50:00 [1] 1.4 mi (35:43 / mi)

Summer eve walk to Great Hill with Beth & Willow. Green as June can be.
Nothing to log in past few weeks. The back is discouraging and the boat launch/delivery to ME was a 6/14-17 deadline. Returned from Maine yesterday, woke up this morn with what really seemed to be sciatica - big time pain/throbbing in antero-lateral thigh and some buttock discomfort. Went upstairs to lie down and noted a weaker left leg. It improved over the course of the morning so a bit puzzling as I'd expect something like sciatica to go on for a few days minimal.

Saw my pcp for that as well as for curiosity about whether or not I'd broken the second metacarpal in my left hand from a hard fall at West Point 4/27. Original swelling cleared leaving still swelling and a distortion adjacent to the joint. XR was entirely normal, didn't show the evident soft tissue swelling. X-ray tech was surprised as was I. Visited with Per Stensby after.

Working my way out of a "fitness hole".
