Hit the goat trails in the glorious heat - couldn't care less what the distance was. Saaaahweeet!

This was supposed to be a repeat of last week's long run along the Humber with a few extra km's tacked on, but my stomach would have none of that and violently objected. Note to self - no more green beer the night before long run sessions!

Great brick session with Mrs Gally and Rob M at/around Hilton. Realized as I was typing this that today was the first time I've logged anything but running since mid-January. Hmmm...

46km out-and-back run along the Humber River with Heather B riding alongside. Best I've felt being outdoors since Tasmania - SUCH an awesome day! Spotted a couple in a racing canoe, anglers in the river in hip-waders, people playing soccer in the parks along the pathway, even a group of deer crossing through the river at the north end. Also spotted two brightly-coloured cyclists on the return route, who just turned out to be Bash and Bent on a ride down to the lake. They very patiently kept at my running pace, and it was great to chat and catch up as we all made our way south. Thanks guys!

Oooh la la - loving the warm temps! 18km road run and grinning from ear to ear the whole way. Sprinted the last 200m like a 10 year old kid. Suck it winter!
