Green course at Hickory Run SP on Sand Spring map (with start and finish at Camp Daddy Allen). 4.6k, 145m. Hickory Run in Summer, so visibility (and runnability) is low. Overcast, 70s, humid. Nice course set by Greg A.
Even though I know that I don't do well trying to follow a bearing in low visibility stuff, I still tried to do it, costing me about 8 minutes on a 100m leg (4-5). Sloppy on my attack to 2 and had to double back. Lots of walking as I bashed through vegetation.

Birdsboro Waters trails (part of the Hay Creek orienteering map but with more trails than the map shows). Parked at Rustic Park south of Birdsboro. Big trail network with lots of opportunities to climb and plenty of rocks and roots. Somewhat sparse trail labeling but I had the Trailforks map and made several stops to figure out where I was and where I was going. From this parking area accessing most of the trails requires either a stream crossing of Hay Creek or a 60m climb. I did the climb since you'd do it anyway to get to most of the trails. Sunny, upper 70s/low 80s.
I missed about 14 minutes of the GPS track by forgetting to restart my watch after doing a map check (and then the watch did a full reboot but somehow kept what was already recorded). Added 14 minutes, 1.2k and 40m to the stats to correct.
