#4 hesitated
#6 hesitated
#7 did not understand where is the side re-entrant just N of control. Spent a minute there.
#10 went low too early, paid with time to recover.
#16 went straight (mistake), then thought I am too low, but were too high (minute more).

rest was fine.

Ahead of Will in results!

Fast terrain, good courses. Got beat by AJ and some very fast guy with not great navigation skills. Kept Will behind me.

Orienteering 20:42 [3] 2.59 km (8:00 / km) +130m 6:24 / km
ahr:161 max:175

Sprint race; mistake on 1, then spent 20 seconds investigating Pat's cactus, then got a cactus on my own, then helped someone not slide down checkpoint 5. Did wrong for 9 - decided to go up, but then spent some half a minute trying to figure how to get down. Otherwise great race! Managed to keep Will behind me.

Walked the route with my daughter after.

I think the course was very fine for M-21/F-21 runners. For everyone else it was too hard physically.
