SI joint/Glute hurt more and more through this race, couldn't run properly. And then my orienteering was utter cramp, probably because of the above. I know my mental skills need work, but it did seem a bit futile when I couldn't run properly anyway. Maybe should have given up.
In Hastings, free pool to use at the place I stayed at!! So cool. this will now be the no. 1 thing I look for when choosing accommodation in future (access to gym and pool for free).

Night run around the streets. Feeling pretty good and going at a decent speed. Then maybe halfway through noticed a vague discomfort in my left glute region. Discomfort got worse and worse through to the end of the run. It was quite sore when I stopped, couldn't walk that well...
