Orienteering race (Winterfold) 1:38:29 [5] 19.0 km (5:11 / km)

British Champs Classic

Last big race of the season and last weekend of adolescence freedom. Quite enjoyed my run and prioritised on keeping it clean, staying in control and picking all the right routes. Executed the race well to give myself the best chance of a medal. Unfortunately the last loop was mostly running and my legs were not up to speed of the first 3. Slightly disappointed but not much else I could have done. The best guys won.

Path warm up/down 45:00 [3] 6.6 km (6:49 / km)

WU waking up controls on the white, yellow and orange, before running my own race and realising no one had woken up my controls on the black so I was having to wake them up as well. Not too bothered but felt it was a bit upside down logic by the planner. + WD

Orienteering race (SOL3) 1:14:00 [5] 11.0 km (6:44 / km) +560m 5:22 / km

Clunie. Feeling tired before I even started. Heavy on the hills but kept pushing and as I got more dehydrated I started to feel better and finished quite strong.
