Orienteering Race race 20:09 [5]

First race of the Sprints. Felt pretty hurting for a good chunk of it, was running with Clem before we both made a mistake and blew it, except he recovered in time and got seperated. Poor start to the day.

Orienteering Race race 18:39 [5]

Final sprint race, third of 3. Again, didn't feel great and totally wacked my head into a guy's shoulder with my head down. Finished second in the heat. Nothing special about the run, could and should have won it.

Orienteering Race race 13:40 [5] ****
spiked:7/9c weight:165lbs shoes: Asics 2070

Raced the OOC beginners event, was a 1:10,000m map and I wasn't mega shart around a couple of them. I also blame it on the small flags rather than a real one. Legs a little tight from the days before.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]
shoes: Asics 2070

Warm up with the Lions, first practice with them.

Running Intervals intervals 1:50 [5] 0.6 km (3:03 / km)
shoes: Asics 2070

Start of the workout with a 600m interval.

Running tempo 30:00 [4]
shoes: Asics 2070

30 minute tempo run, Lions training. I felt just brutal due to a very very late lunch that was now sitting in my belly. Not a wise move.

Running intervals 1:57 [5] 0.6 km (3:15 / km)
shoes: Asics 2070

A 600m interval to close the workout, felt brutal as well.

canoe/kayak 2:00:00 [1]

Kayaking home from Penn Lake at Algonquin. No moose, very disappointed.

Sunday Sep 4, 2005 #

canoe/kayak 2:00:00 [2]

Canoeing and kayaking at Penn Lake in Algonquin. Did a bit of hammering in the kayak after a very quiet canoe with Ali.
