Relay at The Gib
First leg runner in the Gib "elites". Had made the decision to go slow and steady to keep contact with the map, so up and over was the best option out of the start. Did much better in the granite than yesterday. Really clean through to the turn around at 5. Took the option to the right to 6 and executed cleanly. 7 took a while due to the steep side slope, but read the features well and picked it up. Out to the right again for 8 and straight up the hill to 9. Started vaguing out a bit near 10 due to fatigue but got it cleanly. Over the hill (he he) to 11 and then the easy stuff to the finish.
While the time was nothing pretty it was an entirely clean run. Tired legs from yesterday meant a quick trot was top speed, which probably meant for better map contact.
