Good run today with the group getting back over 10km again after a few bludgy weeks. Left hammie was still a bit sore at the start but it warmed into it and I was running comfortably by the end.
The start of the run was thankfully slow as I tried to get the legs working, I made a point of striding out a bit up the green mile which helped but with only two of us doing the DNA tower a the top the rest started jogging off so we didn’t get a rest. They did the same following our second rep on the new bridge hill so I was hurting a bit but we just jogged the next section so I got to recover.
Some girl earned style points on the way home. Riding her scooter down Stirling Highway in a tracksuit and thongs this girl had an open chin helmet which meant she didn’t have to put her cigarette out. Pure class.
