Orienteering race (Sprint - Flinders Uni) 23:13 [3] 2.2 mi (10:33 / mi) +80m 9:29 / mi

Lost time 2 to 3 by running north instead of south and ending up near my 4th control very confused. By the time I worked it out and got back to 3, I'd lost nearly 2 minutes and a lot of confidence. Got around in one piece, though.

Orienteering race (Sprint - Waite) 23:38 [4] 2.5 km (9:27 / km) +45m 8:40 / km

Second sprint of the day. Did ok, but was a bit more hesitant due to the large amount of OOB green and impassable walls on the map. Very tricky!

Run with Tynomite, Biddy, Jen, Zed and Blair over the hill to the redwoods and back. Very humid and gross tonight!

Run in the warm evening to the forest and Frank Smith Park with Jen, Tyson and Troy. Legs feel surprisingly ok, but my knee has felt a bit funny all day. It doesn't hurt, just feels kinda full of fluid or something - although it's not.

Run long (Ironbank) 1:45:00 [3] 16.5 km (6:22 / km) +525m 5:29 / km

Ran with Tyson, Simon & Bridget from their place up along the track inside Belair park up to Pole Road, down and up Pole Road to Ironbank (where an Ashforth drove past), left onto Coat Road up to Ironbank Road, Sturt Valley Road, up Manoa Road to Upper Sturt Road (where Zed drove past heading west, and another Tomas drove past heading to Blood & Thunder), into the park at the tennis courts, down Saddle Hill and back up behind the golf course. There seemed to be a lot of up.

I expected to turn into a pumpkin at 1hr, but this didn't really happen until 80-90mins. Then I was stuffed, but I still managed to keep up a jog back to Bridget's amazing ricotta pancakes. Yum.
