Enjoyed looking at my April Fool map but did not want to run it at all. Luckily Andre gave me a different course that I liked a lot better :-)

Went to low on the way to 1, but corrected early, compass-free to 2 and again to 3. Deliberately went low to 4, but got pushed a little lower by the shrubberies. Trotted up the creekline no problems - Ken caught me here, but then didn't stay high with me to 5 - didn't see him again until after. Nice easy track leg to 6, then around the knoll to 7 - went too low again, but figured it out and corrected before i went too far. Around the knoll again to 8. Cruisy run to 9 and I surprised myself by pretty much falling onto it. Through the clearings to 10, then a bewildered brain loss moment on the way to 11 which really slowed me down and gave my confidence a bit of a belting. Along the boulders to 12 and easy down the slope to the finish.

I totally won the horror fashion award of the day, too.

A little bit vague at the beginning - haven't been for a run for ages and was quite enjoying jogging along,plus, you know, the greenhouses are always good for a bit of confusion. Am guessing at 4.5km - I'm assuming Juffy ran clean and adding a random, but reasonable amount of distance.

Definitely got slower at the end and far too many walking breaks, but was moving pretty well for the first 3/4 of the course.

Cruised home via Helena Valley Road for a change of scenery. Unfortunately, it's getting dark quite early now and Helena Valley Road has no street lights.

NIce tailwind = nice time on the bike.
