Unmitigated. Disaster.

Couldn't get my head into the map at all and had scale fail the whole way around. Really, really, really wanted a 1:15000 map instead of a 1:10000. And for the control that wasn't in the middle of the circle to be in the middle of the circle.

Nearly DNFd in hopeless woe several times and even ended up asking Rob where I was at one point. The most annoying thing was that I was circling within 40m of the three disaster controls for the whole time I was wandering around losing my gruntle.

I expect this might have been karma for teasing tRicky at the start. At least Daisy got to see a woylie on her 49 minute leg.

Very hard work this morning. Legs tired and achey the whole way through.

Warmed up quickly and cruised through the walk doing about 10s faster per 50m than usual with less effort than usual.

I blame being a morning-ish person.

Felt really good. Clearly I should make more of an effort to come in the morning. Heart rate for speed is falling really rapidly now.

Once I can comfortably swim 1km freestyle, I'm going to need to figure out some drills.

Finished off (untimed) with 8 laps of kicking with flippers. Flippers are awesome fun.

Random bits of swimming and water-walking. Shoulder played up after about 200m of freestyle, causing the desire to putz about.

Once I eventually loosened up, spent about 15 minutes having a go at tumble-turns. Haven't got it yet, but getting there.

Redoing Week 3, since I only did one run due to the severely dodgy burger. Plus, I get a pat on the head for being sensible and doing Week 3 properly instead of skipping ahead to Week 4.

Felt good tonight.
