Orienteering race (Tankerley Middle) 1:05:36 [3] 4.02 mi (16:19 / mi) +97m 15:11 / mi
shoes: Inov8 ORoc 280

Last W21 again :( but again really enjoyed myself. Made another mistake at the beginning. After getting 1 spot on, ran straight to 2, but came off bearing at ended up at 3, then had to go back to 2 (my 2-3 split pretty good). Pretty clean after that. Really nice course, and I'll say again how amazing Neil's map is.

Orienteering race (British Nights) 1:17:56 [3] 6.86 mi (11:22 / mi) +171m 10:33 / mi
shoes: Inov8 ORoc 280

A long way behind the rest of the field (of which only another 5 people) but pleased with this, given the little night-o I've done. Messed up first control being stupid and thinking I'd gone further than I had, having to relocate. Then fine until the far part. 6-7 had thought I'd go along the road but someone seemed to be yelling at people so decided to go straight, aiming off to hit the fence. Kind of worked but couldn't quite work it out so went to path/fence corner and came back in. 9-10 also straight. Hit control on a thicket but then thought it was one about 20m away. Ended up relocating from fence again. Annoyingly route gadget shows I had been almost on top of it.

The map is amazing. There's so much detail, lots of small hills with pits on, but when you look up it all makes sense (if you're in the right place...)

Pilates 1:00:00 [3]

Bit harder today. Really feel it on my stomach. Did a hip flexor exercise that mainly demonstrated that I can't turn out my foot/leg

Running (Work - Home) 54:14 [3] 5.26 mi (10:19 / mi) +58m 9:58 / mi
shoes: Saucony ProGrid Ride - 2nd pai

Far slower than I realised. Didn't feel that slow, so was surprised at how long it had taken. Listened to ipod for once, maybe that.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony ProGrid Ride - 2nd pai

From tube to bandstand, to car, to bandstand to car again.

Running intervals (Clapham Common) 35:02 [3] 3.63 mi (9:39 / mi) +19m 9:30 / mi
shoes: Saucony ProGrid Ride - 2nd pai

4*5min (90s recovery)
2*2min (60s recovery)
2*1min (60s recovery)

Good session, think I probably did the 5 min ones a bit slowly but kept similar pace throughout. Need to remember to get rid of the k beep on my watch so can time this properly.

Still feel can't catch breathe at times.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [3] 0.8 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Saucony ProGrid Ride - 2nd pai

Back to tube.

Meant to run home but went to get haircut instead. Also meant to run Sunday but got sorting house things out (and sleeping) and just didn't happen.
