Awake early so got up n out for trot around town - wore new heel pad which seemed to help. Fingers crossed!

Nice n easy run - golf course, KS, town, river n then back via Roswell n Common. Legs tired n a bit sore but generally ok.

From the Outdoors Centre down through the rhododendrons to the 'start' and back from the 'finish' via a different route including some more terrain.

O training on Hindleap Warren using an old course of Dad's from 2004 and was great to be back O-ing again... lovely, lovely forest n tricky by being vague in parts and having changed a bit since it was mapped. Was generally secure but wobbled on one control by coming off the bearing n dropping too low; also found it tough running back on uneven, rough stuff. Just need to train more!

Warm up to St John's (nice mile loop) and afterwards with Alice n Dylan into Kings.

River Run with Dylan - at pace similar to Camb Half which suggests it's fairly accurate as a loop. Felt fine - but tendons stiffening on the warm down.

Extended run over to the Common for 3.5 laps of the XC course. Felt laboured n not really up for it but got into my stride n ran at decent pace throughout. Nice n wet n muddy as well... hoorah!
