HVO local at Pound Ridge. Glorious open woods, temp around 40 and mostly sunny made for a lovely day in the park. Brown was less than 3.5 km so I opted for the green since the stated climb was 200m (length 5.9km).

Very happy with my time (near 90 min) but it's partly because there was opportunity to run trails a lot of the way. I go much slower in the woods on a relative basis, particularly in rocky areas (and climbing over stone walls, of which there were many!). One fall(!) on the trail between 1 and 2.

Didn't spike 2 (popped over the hill but went too far right; I'm not sure about the mapping here) or 10 (popped over the spur but too early), but didn't lose much time at either.

Control 3's SI box was dead and I punched it several times to be sure before continuing. It was tossed (removed from course) by the time I finished, so my splits will look different from results if they get posted to AP.

6th of 10 when I finished; two women ahead included Karen M and Lena S.

A degree cooler but otherwise very similar conditions to last Friday's walk. I try not ro do the same route twice, bit when it's breezy I walk east on Allegiant and not into the wind. Paving crew is prepping to do final pavement on Allegiant and adjacent streets (finally) in that part of the development.
