Another large class, so just floor aerobics, leg strength, and abs (and stretching).

Had a moment of hilarity this morning:

I was typing the word "rules" into a search box, only I managed to rearrange the letters. As I typed r u s l e , the auto-correct suggested "dyslexia." I laughed out loud. :-D

At Albany Pine Bush, Madison Ave Ext start/finish. Loved the packed sand trails with few roots and no rocks -- very soft on the (sore) feet. Tricky to cross the creek where the bridge was out (and a new one under construction). Did this loop (Red trail) in the opposite direction from runs I've done here in the past to make it seem a little different. Overcast and mid 40s so nice for running.

As we got ready to start we saw a number of folks in hunter's camo and bow/arrow setups. Only saw one of them on the trails later, and I don't think they stayed around too long. Glad to have been wearing a red shirt!

Thought about doing intervals, but after a half mile warmup on the indoor track at the Y I didn't feel up to running faster so just kept going for two miles. I did go just a touch faster in the second mile (11:37 and 11:33). Counted laps in base 5 (14 laps to a mile).

Including steps today. Quads were much less sore than the past two days; I really didn't think I'd done so much climbing. AP's calculation doesn't agree with what I counted from the map (closer to 200-230m; AP said over 300...).

Using elastic bands. Only thing I modified was the side planks. Still have DOMS in the quads!

Rowing machine, 1004 m in 5:00
Adductors, 2 x 12 x 75#
Pulldowns, not as many as before and had to lighten the weight, but it's been a couple of weeks
