Walking 29:28 [2] 2.05 mi (14:22 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Shadow 6000 8.5 #2

Mostly downhill. :-) Glen dropped me off 2 mi +/- from home. There were a couple of brief uphills but the general trend was downhill, thus the faster than usual walking speed.

Orienteering race (Green course) 1:50:51 [3] *** 4.88 km (22:43 / km)
spiked:9/12c shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 (old)

Misinterpreted trails at #2, thought man-made object was farther south than mapped on #7, and totally missed #9, though discussion after the event thought that the flag was hung on rocks higher up on the hill (I was contouring). About 20-25 min. error, more or less, mostly on #9, though I missed on a few route choices too.

Hope to be more focused next weekend at Batona!

Walking 33:16 [3] 2.0 mi (16:38 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Shadow 6000 8.5 #2

Trying to loosen up the right upper hip area (top of pelvic bone). Piriformis? Ilio-tibial band? Who knows? Also did 2x15 reps of side leg lifts, both inner and outer thighs.

Running (paved) long 1:01:30 [3] 5.05 mi (12:11 / mi)
shoes: Trail NB 706 9D # 1

Bashford Road (starting from N end). Was going to run 5.5 but was getting tired at 2.5 so I turned around. Felt hot! at 62 degrees and partly sunny. :-) Distracted myself in last mile thinking about quilting...and I needed the distraction.

Walking 20:24 [3] 1.3 mi (15:42 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Shadow 6000 8.5 #2

To P.O. and back to mail a couple of bills (yeah, they keep coming). Beautiful late-October day for eastern NY, mid-50's, and tomorrow will be even nicer (near 70!!).
