Started at the Ranger station went over the peaks, then a little bit back up Shadow looking for someone, and back on Mesa. Kicked my ASS!!!! Legs were just tired and week but energy was fine. Tried to keep the HR down even on the climbs and looks like I did pretty good with that. Still blowing snot all over but way better than yesterday.

Easy double Mesa Trail crossing. I bailed on the half marathon due to not wanting to put my body under that much stress. Still blowing snot everywhere too so have not kicked this 100% yet. This is ~13 mins slower than my PR on this course which I did last year with Tim Long.

Easy jog up the hill on the dirty Biz loop. HR seemed hard to rise again today. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. Still a snot factory and did layer up again today to try to sweat it out.

The effort felt a lot harder than the HR shows. I had issue getting my HR to rise. Still sick and now seem to be coughing more, hopefully it stays out of my chest. Layered up again try to help sweat it out.

Think I might skip the race on Saturday and do the mileage at a slow pace.

Super super easy jog up the hill on Bismark loop and back. No HR due to how easy I took it. Also wrapped myself up in fleece trying to sweat out this bug I have.
