Tankersley middle race. Feeling very tired after yesterday but actually ran the best I have for a while. Had a crazy time to number 1 and lost 2 minutes, where Jonny caught me. Spent the rest of the course hanging on to him but taking different route choices so I wouldn't see him for a while and then he'd appear in front again.

Glad my fitness seems to be returning. This is the first time I have run hard for 2 consecutive days, so I'm pleased.

British night champs at Tankersley.

This was a very fun technical night race. It was a long way for me but the tricky orienteering distracted me from the distance. Made a few mistakes but not too bad in general. I felt tired from about halfway to the end so lost lots of time just on running speed.
