Orienteering race (Clipper Lake - Green) 1:31:07 [3] 6.0 km (15:11 / km) +205m 12:58 / km
weight:176lbs

Garmin - 4.78 miles with 158m climb.

Advanced course with some actual climb! So very happy with this effort despite the booboos. Parallel error going into 5 and visited every tree looking for the last control, or so it seemed. Clumped close enough to the other ladies. A good effort. And, so close to 15 minutes per k. Woohoo!

Swimming 1:00:00 [1]

First 400 yards as a time trial - 7:40. Very happy with this.

After I recovered from that, I did the 50 fast and 100 easy until the first 30 minutes were up. Then I concentrated on just keeping good form and even breathing the second 30 minutes.

Mowing/Yard (Mow #1) 10:00 [3]

Swimming 53:00 [1]

Yay for listening to my body and taking a rest day yesterday. Today, I felt fresh and strong, and I very much enjoyed the swim. Cut the time a little short of the planned hour because I was running late and had to move my car before parking restrictions kicked in.

Note
weight:176lbs (rest day)

Sore body, crap sleep, oversleeping, and a log with eight bars in a row, is a good indicator that a rest day was in order.

A sweet picture of my mother and her sister, Honora. They were three years apart in age.
