After recovering fairly quickly from thursday, didn't feel I could quite justify not running, especially as so short. Legs felt okay. Pushed it fairly hard, was okay for the first section, then was really suffering after the crossings. Just tried to hold on, but was absolutely knackered by the end. Biggest mistake probably to the first control...

Again, pushed hard from the start, happy with the first few, then lost time just before the first road bridge. Overall, pretty clean. Breathing was ridiculous the whole time once I'd got into it, excessively fast and probably too shallow, but was just trying to give it my best shot.
