X Country 32:18 [3] 5.0 km (6:28 / km) +50m 6:09 / km
shoes: Saucony Excursion

Gentle jog around the park - legs a wee bit stiff from the long drive home more than the running I think!

Orienteering race 55:31 [5] 9.8 km (5:40 / km) +35m 5:34 / km
shoes: Saucony Excursion

St Andrews - The best street race in the UK by far - only trouble is it finished all too quickly. A small mistake on the long leg where I missed an alley maybe cost me 30 seconds but apart from that it was a great event and another nice day. Well worth the long trip North.

Orienteering race 16:34 [5] 2.8 km (5:55 / km) +5m 5:52 / km
shoes: Saucony Excursion

Langlands - A couple of bad route choices near the start and missed a gap in the hedge on the way to 15 but apart from that a great race.

Orienteering race 19:47 [5] 3.0 km (6:36 / km) +20m 6:23 / km
shoes: Saucony Excursion

North Haugh -Only one mistake (trouble is it was massive!) Wrong building at 9 cost me 2 minutes. I ran it again after the race in 30 seconds so should have taken 17.46 which would have put me above Iain Shepherd - gutted.

It is a shame that so many people break the rules at these events - I saw lots of people crossing features they were not meant to - I'm not sure what can be done apart from having someone standing there to stop them.
